History

Our story is a story of effort and absolute trust in God. As a Consorcio MUZA, we were born in 2007, but the journey began in 1995 with the arrival of our founder Jorge Mundaca commercializing hydrobiological products and supplying different factories in the country.

However, when he noticed a predominant informality in the sector, he encouraged formalization by directing fishermen within the corresponding regulations and provided his support in administrative needs. In this way, it managed to form a community of fishing owners.

In 2003, as an unpaid debt, he received a damaged boat called “SUCCESS”, and bringing the name of the boat to reality, our founder achieved growth in the sector.

Thanks to that deteriorated boat and the group of shipowners who trusted him from the beginning, he managed to obtain the knowledge and request the necessary licenses to start entering industrial fishing.

By 2007, our founder already had a considerable fishing fleet consolidated. With his vision of the sector and faithful to his philosophy of ensuring the sustainability of his business, he decided to increase his smaller-scale fleet and embark more deeply on Direct Human Consumption (CHD).

It was then that we faced the challenge of ensuring the quality of the hydrobiological product and we achieved it by integrating the different activities that intervene in the fishing activity and thus ensuring the safety and traceability of the product.

For this, and always guided by his vision, our founder decided to build the Juan Pablo Multipurpose Fishing Landing in Sechura.

Currently, we are in the expansion phase and we seek to expand our offer to the international market through different certifications that will allow us to ensure our quality seal in order to consolidate a future for the next generations that seek to enter the exciting world of fishing.
